In “7 Big Questions,” Edgar considers seven major Bible stories through the lens of a question that is asked in each story. Some of the questions will be very familiar to the Christian reader, such as “Did God really say?” in Genesis 3. Others may not be as intuitive, such as “Am I in the place of God” as Edgar considers the story of Jacob and Joseph. By the end of the book, the reader will have a simple but foundational view of man, sin, sacrifice and redemption.
I appreciate the thoughtfulness that was put into constructing the discussion questions for each chapter of the book. From start to finish, it is clear that Edgar and @crownandcovenant intended this book to be a tool to put in the hands of people who are in the beginning stages of their relationship with Christ. I could see this being used with students or people who are intimidated by the idea of reading a 200 page book.
This book was graciously provided to me by @crownandcovenant
