Lovely in form and function March 21, 2016

One way to increase my intimacy with the songs I sing in worship is to read, know, understand, and love the words. The Words Only edition nurtures this relationship with the text. The Psalter is lovely in form and function. Designer Megan Wingfield set the versifications in poetic form and bound them with a handsome, leather-like cover. The font size is easy on my eyes, and I appreciate that each psalm includes any scriptural inscription from the original text. It's practical, too: portable and lending itself to "tune switching." I'm looking forward to sharing this book with others and giving it away for gifts.
